Befesa SA ist ein in Luxemburg ansässiges Dienstleistungsunternehmen, das sich auf das Sammeln und Recyceln von Stahlstaub und Aluminiumrückständen sowie auf die Bereitstellung anderer damit verbundener Dienstleistungen und Logistik spezialisiert hat. Seine Geschäftsaktivitäten sind in zwei Segmente unterteilt: Stahlstaub-Recyclingdienste und Aluminiumsalzschlacken-Recyclingdienste. Das Segment Steel Dust Recycling Services konzentriert sich auf die Sammlung und das Recycling von Stahlstaub und anderen Stahlrückständen, die bei der Produktion von Rohstahl, Edelstahl und verzinktem Stahl sowie bei der Herstellung von Wälzoxid und anderen Metallen anfallen. Das Segment Aluminium Salt Slags Recycling Services umfasst das Recycling von Salzschlacken und verbrauchten Topfauskleidungen, die Rückgewinnung und den Verkauf von Salz, Aluminiumkonzentrat und Aluminiumoxiden sowie die Herstellung von Sekundäraluminiumlegierungen für die Bau- und Automobilindustrie.
