Mr. William F.
Bahl, CFA MBA, is a Lead Independent Director at Cincinnati Financial Corp., a Co-Founder, Chairman, Portfolio Manager & Principal at Bahl & Gaynor, Inc. and a President at Bahl Family Foundation.
He is on the Board of Directors at Cincinnati Financial Corp., The Cincinnati Insurance Co., Inc., The Deaconess Associations, Inc. and Hamilton County Parks Foundation.
He is responsible for portfolio management, investment research of the financial services industry, and client service.
Prior to forming Bahl & Gaynor, Mr. Bahl was Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Northern Trust Company in Chicago.
His responsibilities included the establishment of investment policy, strategy and risk control procedures for over $38 billion under management.
In addition to the above, he directly managed a $200 million domestic equity common fund.
Prior to joining Northern Trust in 1985, he was Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for The Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati; responsible for $2.5 billion under management.
His responsibilities also included the management of large performance oriented eleemosynary, pension, and personal relationships.
He joined Fifth Third in 1978.
Prior to joining in Fifth Third, he was Investment Officer for the Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh responsible for the management of large family and endowment relationships.
He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
