Broughton, III CFA, is a Managing Director & Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc. He has over four decades of experience in financial services and joined Merrill Lynch in July 1987.
He is the founding member of the group and architect of the group’s research and investment methodologies.
Mr. Broughton focuses on portfolio management and select client relationships.
He is a designated Senior Portfolio Manager and over his 35 year career at Merrill has helped the company pioneer new investment management policies and platforms.
Mr. Broughton received his MBA in Finance at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
