since August 2002 and Chief Medical Officer since November 2004.
From April 1999 to August 2002, he was Vice President of Medical & Regulatory Affairs for Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, Inc. and Director of Medical Affairs for Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals North America, Inc. from August 1996 to April 1999.
Currently, Dr. Cheatham is a Director of the American Diabetes Association.
He received an MD from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1975.
