Vijay is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ela Capital.
He is a successful angel investor and serial entrepreneur with over twenty years of experience in pharmaceuticals and public health.
He has helped build several leading life science and healthcare technology companies across Europe, North America, and India, including Materia, High 12, and Savikalpa Sciences.
Most notably, Vijay is a co-founder of TerrAscend (CSE:TER), a multi-billion dollar, vertically integrated pharmaceutical company.
He is also an active philanthropist, addressing issues related to education, poverty, and rare diseases through the Sappani Foundation.
Vijay earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the Tamilnadu Medical University, as well as a post-graduate degree in Marketing Management from Humber College.
