Suresh V.
Garimella is currently an Independent Director at Modine Manufacturing Co., a Director at Vermont Business Roundtable, Inc., the Director & Professor at Birck Nanotechnology Center, and the President of the University of Vermont.
He is also a Member of The National Science Board and a Professor at Purdue University School of Mechanical Engineering.
Formerly, Dr. Garimella served as the Director of Cooling Technologies Research Center from 1999 to 2019.
He was also the Executive Vice President-Research & Partnerships at Purdue University from 2014 to 2019.
Prior to that, he held professorship positions at the University of California, Berkeley, the University of New South Wales, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Dr. Garimella obtained his graduate degree from The Ohio State University in 1986, his doctorate degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1989, and his undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 1985.
