Steven Hamerslag

Steve is a Co-Founder of TVC Capital.
He has over 40 years’ experience starting, growing and leading high tech enterprises.
His knowledge of enterprise technology solutions is further leveraged by his extensive sales, marketing and general management experience having started and acted as CEO of two publicly held companies.
Prior to founding TVC Capital, Steve was President and CEO of J2 Global Communications, a provider of communication services.
Steve was instrumental in creating the J2 transformation by combining JFAX.com with EFAX.com and expanding the service offering with web-managed conference calling.
In 1987, Steve founded MTI Technology, a provider of enterprise storage solutions.
Revenues grew to over $200 million during his tenure with the company.
Steve was recognized as the Ernst and Young National Entrepreneur of the Year and the Orange County High Technology Entrepreneur of the Year.
He is on the board of directors of publicly held CorVel Corporation (NASDAQ: CRVL) and Limeade (ASX: LME), as well as privately held LiquidPlanner, Celigo, CreatorIQ, eVisit, and SpotHopper.
Steve holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
