Simon Gifford

Mr. Gifford joined Tate & Lyle in 1969 having qualified as a chartered accountant in that year.
He has held various senior financial and general management roles including Managing Director, Foreign Investment Division from 1987 and Company Secretary with responsibility for investor relations from 1993.
He was appointed to his current position and joined the Tate & Lyle Board in January 1996.
From January to April 2003, he served as Acting Chief Executive whilst a new Chief Executive was being recruited.
