Mr. Saniel Chandrawat is an Executive Director & Senior Investment Analyst at Shikhara Capital (Hong Kong) Pvt Ltd. He has over 16 years of equity industry experience.
Prior to joining Shikhara, He was with Mirae Asset Global Investments (Hong Kong) for over nine years.
In his most recent role, he was the Lead Portfolio Manager of the Mirae Asset ESG India Sector Leader Equity Fund and the Mirae Asset ESG Emerging Asia ex China Equity Fund, and Co-Portfolio Manager of the Mirae Asset ESG Asia Sector Leader Equity Fund.
In addition, he was responsible for covering the regional healthcare, energy, and utilities sectors as a research analyst.
He began his career as a senior auditor with KPMG (BSR and Co., India) in 2005.
He then worked at Morgan Stanley in Mumbai as a research analyst for seven years, where he was a key member of the team covering the Indian pharmaceutical sector.
The team ranked second in the Institutional Investors survey for two consecutive years in 2012 and 2013.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai in India and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
