Reed Morian served as the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Dixie Chemical Co., Inc. from 1981 to 2006.
He also held positions as the Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer of DX Holding Co., Inc. and DX Service Co., Inc. Additionally, he served as the Chairman of DPC Industries, Inc. He was a Director of Prosperity Bancshares, Inc. from 2005 to 2009 and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas from 2003 to 2008.
He served as a Director for various organizations including New Gauley Coal Corp., FirstCapital Bank, SSB, Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, The Houston Museum of Natural Science, Houston Symphony, Natural Resource Partners LP, and GNP Management Corp.
He has been a Director of Western Pocahontas Corp., Western Pocahontas Properties LP, Great Northern Properties LP, and GP Natural Resource Partners LLC since 1986, 1986, 1992, and 2002 respectively.
He also served as a Director of Houston Parks Board, Inc., Gulf Capital Bank, and a Trustee of Texas Heart Institute.
He is currently a Member-Managers Board of Premium Resources LLC and a Member-Managers Board of Pocahontas Royalties LLC.
