Mr. Norris was formerly a Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Sales at Taiwan Semiconductor (“TSMC”), based at corporate headquarters in Taiwan.
Previously, he was the President at TSMC, U.S.A., based in San Jose, California.
Prior to TSMC, Mr. Norris served as a Vice President and General Manager at Data I/O Corporation in Redmond, Washington, where he was responsible for profit and loss management for the company's Programming Systems Business Unit.
Mr. Norris’s other positions include the Senior Vice President at Digital Systems International, Redmond, Washington; Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Microchip Technology, Inc., Chandler, Arizona; and Executive Vice President at Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation, Cupertino, California, where he was based in Puyallup, Washington and Tokyo, Japan.
He began his career at Texas Instruments and held several key executive management and engineering positions in both Dallas and Houston, Texas.
He holds an M.S.
in Physics from the University of Arkansas and a B.S.
in Physics from Sam Houston State University.
