Robert S. Chapman

Rob has more than 30 years experience in mining, the past 23 years of which were with Centerra's predecessor companies.
Rob started with the company as a project geologist and after assuming progressively more responsible positions, was promoted to Manager, Evaluations in 1999.
Rob became Vice President, Exploration for Cameco Gold in July 2003.
Over the course of his career, Rob has lived in Canada, the US and Chile, and has supervised exploration activities in North America, South America and Central Asia.
Rob received a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from the University of Manitoba in 1976 and a Master of Science degree in geology from Queens University in 1981.
He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and a fellow of the Geological Association of Canada
