Raymond Lee

Mr. Raymond Lee is a Managing Partner & Chief Investment Officer at Torica Capital Pty Ltd. He is responsible for the firm’s investment portfolios, strategy and team.
He possesses extensive fixed income and credit experience covering the full spectrum of global macro, credit, hybrids and rates, in both the public and private spheres.
He has over two decades of experience at premier financial institutions and investment firms.
Mr. Lee was previously employed as a Managing Director & Portfolio Manager by Kapstream Capital Pty Ltd. He was a Lead and Senior Portfolio Manager overseeing over $14 billion in global fixed income and credit portfolios across various absolute return strategies.
As Head of Credit, he led the firm to become recognised as one of the leading credit investment funds in the industry.
Prior to Kapstream, he managed investments at a $6 billion global special situation hedge fund that spun off from Highbridge Capital Management.
He also worked at Goldman Sachs and Illyria, the private investment firm of Lachlan Murdoch, covering investments across the capital structure.
Raymond has frequently appeared in the media as a specialist on the region’s fixed income markets.
He holds a Bachelor of Law and Commerce (Finance) from the University of New South Wales (NSW).
