Pascal Kiener ist Chief Executive Officer der Banque Cantonale Vaudoise, Präsident des Fonds de Prvoyance en Faveur du Personnel de la BCV und Mitglied des Stiftungsrats des Swiss Finance Institute. Er ist Mitglied des Verwaltungsrats der BCV-Stiftung, der Fondation EPFL Plus, der Fondation Foot Avenir, der Fondation Genve Place Financire, der La Chambre vaudoise du commerce et de l'industrie, der Schweizerischen Bankiervereinigung und des Verbands Schweizerischer Kantonalbanken. Herr Kiener kam am 1. Juni 2003 als CFO zur BCV und wurde am 1. Mai 2008 zum CEO ernannt. Zwischen 1985 und 1991 arbeitete Herr Kiener als Ingenieur für Fides Informatics in Zürich und Hewlett Packard in Genf. Im Jahr 1993 wechselte er zur Unternehmensberatung McKinsey & Company. Im Jahr 2000 wurde er zum Partner und Mitglied des Management Committee von McKinsey Schweiz ernannt. In diesen Jahren sammelte er als Berater für führende Finanzinstitute in der Schweiz und anderen europäischen Ländern Erfahrungen insbesondere im Finanzdienstleistungs- und Bankenbereich. Er leitete große Projekte in den Bereichen Strategie, Risikomanagement, Controlling und Business Process Reengineering. Darüber hinaus erwarb er einen Abschluss an der Eidgenössischen Technischen Hochschule und einen MBA am INSEAD.
