Mirjam ‘t Lam joined Oikocredit in November 2020 as Director of Finance & Risk and was Interim Managing Director for several months before becoming Managing Director on 1 December 2021.
With 20 years of experience in financial services, Mirjam joined Oikocredit from the Africa-focused investment company Arise, where she served as Chief Financial Risk Officer (CFRO) and played a leading role in the creation of the organisation.
Her other previous positions have include CFRO for Rabo Development and Executive Director at several member banks of the Rabobank Group.
Mirjam was also part of Rabobank’s food and agriculture strategy team.
Mirjam has international experience of working in both mature and emerging markets.
She holds a master’s degree in international business from Maastricht University.
