Previously, Dr. Attardo was General Manager for the Microelectronics, Manufacturing and Process Development Division of IBM.
He is a Director of the Semiconductor Industries Association and the Engineering Council of the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Dr. Attardo is a Member of the Joint Industry-Government Semiconductor Technology Council for the United States Department of Defense.
He received a BA degree from Queens College and a BS degree, an MS and a PhD from Columbia University.
