Turner is currently the Chairman of AllianceBernstein National Municipal Income Fund, Inc. and AllianceBernstein Global High Income Fund, Inc. He is also the Chairman of the Smithsonians National Museum of Natural History and a Director of AB Large Cap Growth Fund, Inc., The George Lucas Educational Foundation, and National Datacast, Inc. Previously, Mr. Turner served as the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of DuPont Photomasks, Inc. and Toppan Photomasks, Inc. from 2003 to 2006.
He was also an Independent Director of Xilinx, Inc. from 2007 to 2020 and held the position of Director, SVP-Business & Strategic Development at SunEdison, Inc. from 2007 to 2014.
Additionally, he served as a Director of Alliance California Municipal Income Fund, Inc., an Independent Director of Alliance New York Municipal Income Fund, Inc. from 2011 to 2014, and an Independent Class III Director of AllianceBernstein Income Fund, Inc. Mr. Turner obtained an MBA from Harvard University and completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Stanford University.
