Jerry Cain

erry is a Partner of Slate Asset Management and is focused on capital raising and distribution to the firm’s investor relations function.
Jerry has over 15 years of experience in capital raising and distribution.
Under Jerry’s leadership, Slate has significantly grown and diversified its global institutional investor base, and the firm’s internal Capital Raising & Investor Relations team has grown to include 11 individuals globally, spanning a range of roles and functions.
Prior to joining Slate in 2020, Jerry served as Managing Director and Head of Funds Advisory – Americas at JLL, where he was primarily responsible for JLL’s private fund advisory efforts and capital raising activities in North America.
Jerry was previously a Director in the Private Capital Advisory Group at Lazard Freres, where he led distribution and maintained key relationships with general partners and real estate operators in North America.
Jerry also managed fundraising efforts for North American and European real estate funds and Infrastructure funds while with Harbert Management Corporation.
Jerry holds a Bachelor Degree from Roanoke College and a MBA from Northeastern University.
