Gustavo Friederichsen

Gustavo Friederichsen has been Chief Marketing Officer and Communications Officer of Palomar Pomerado Health since 2004.
He is a Director of the Dikembe Mutombo Foundation, Community Health Improvement Partnership, and the Downtown Business Association.
He is a Former Member of the San Diego Press Club and the Bush-Quayle National Communications Committee.
Mr. Friederichsen is a Member of the International Association of Business Communicators, the National Hispanic Youth Foundation, Public Relations Society of America, and San Diego Chapter.
Prior to joining Palomar Pomerado Health, he was Vice President of Communications, Public Relations, and International Business for Sharp Healthcare.
He was Director of Strategic Communications for Tenet Healthcare Corp.
He was Senior Policy Advisor of Supervisor Ron Roberts from 1996 to 1997, Public and Government Relations Manager of Scripps Health from 1991 to 1996, and Deputy Director of Communications for the U.S.
Department of Health & Human Services from 1990 to 1991.
Mr. Friederichsen received a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from San Diego State University.
