Adessi is a Senior Vice President & International Wealth Advisor at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc. She has over 29 years of private wealth management and trust services experience.
Ms. Adessi is a qualified International Wealth Advisor and Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help individuals, families, endowments and foundations pursue their objectives by building and managing her own personalized strategies, which incorporate individual stocks and bonds, Merrill Lynch model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies.
Ms. Adessi builds enduring relationships with clients and assists them in developing strategies that reflect their and their family’s unique goals.
She has experience working with multigenerational families and investing under complex trust structures.
Prior to working at Merrill Lynch, Ms. Adessi joined Fiduciary Trust International, a subsidiary of Franklin Templeton in 2000.
At Fiduciary Trust International, she was a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager.
Ms. Adessi was also a member of Fiduciary Trust International of the South’s Trust Operations Committee and Trust Review and Collective Investment Trust Oversight Committee.
She was a member of Fiduciary Trust’s Technology team, Growth Equity Group and Equity Strategy Committee.
Gabriela started her career in the financial industry in 1995 at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. working in the Private Client Group.
Ms. Adessi graduated from Florida International University where she received her B.A. with a major in Finance and a minor in International Business.
She also obtained her MBA in Finance from Nova Southeastern University.
