Felix von Schubert

Felix von Schubert co-founded zouk in 1999 and is a Partner.
He has over 15 years of private equity and investment banking experience.
Felix has been responsible for the management of a number of zouk’s portfolio companies, led deal sourcing, deal structuring and developed expansion strategies and exit options in multiple countries.
For Cleantech Europe, he sourced and structured its investment in Nanotron Technologies and is lead Partner for Sulfurcell Solartechnik.
Felix serves on the Board of Nanotron Technologies, Sulfurcell Solartechnik (as observer), Triton-Format, The CarbonNeutral Company and Zooplus, where he is Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
He has a background in structuring investments, building start-up companies and providing strategic advice to large corporations in the oil and gas, and telecom sectors.
Prior to founding zouk, he spent several years within JPMorgan’s technology M&A and private equity teams.
He was involved in large cross-border M&A transactions in the oil and gas sector as well as several private equity transactions in the telecom and technology area.
He previously held a research position with the French Ministry of Finance, where he focused on European deregulation.
He also worked for the German Chamber of Commerce in Russia, advising German corporations.
Mr. von Schubert holds a M.S.
in Economics from the University of Cologne, Germany and a CEP from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris.
He was a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley.
