Edward James Gay

Ed joined Hollyport in May 2011, and is a Partner in the Investment Team and also has responsibility for Finance, Monitoring and Reporting functions.
Ed started his career in the audit and assurance department at Deloitte, where he qualified as an ACA in the Products & Services team in London.
Post qualification he moved to the corporate finance department of the Dawnay, Day Group, where he specialised in private and public M&A and equity capital markets.
Before joining Hollyport, he worked at Arbuthnot Securities, where he worked as a corporate financier advising public and private companies on a range of corporate finance transactions.
Ed holds an honours degree in Natural Sciences from Durham University and is an FCA.
