Founder of 12 different companies, which include: Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Ltd., Econet Wireless (Pty) Ltd. and Carbon War Room, Strive T. Masiyiwa is a Zimbabwean entrepreneur and businessperson who has been at the helm of 13 different companies and presently occupies the position of Executive Chairman of Econet Media Ltd. (which he founded), Executive Chairman of Cassava Technologies (which he founded), Executive Chairman & Chief Executive Officer for Econet South Africa (Pty) Ltd., Chairman for Econet Wireless Ltd. (which he founded in 1993) and Chairman for Liquid Telecommunications Ltd.

He is also Member of Global Business Coalition For Education (he founded the company) and on the board of 18 other companies.

In his past career Strive T. Masiyiwa was Chairman for Liquid Telecommunications Holdings Ltd., Chairman for Africa Against Ebola Solidarity Trust (he founded the company), Co-Chairman for Grow Africa, Executive Director at Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Ltd. (he founded the company in 1998) and Chairman for Econet Wireless (Pty) Ltd. (a subsidiary of Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Ltd.), Group Executive Chairman at Econet Wireless Group (he founded the company in 1997) and Chairman of Nutrition International.
