Kai Yuan Wong is Chairman of Careshield Life Council. Ms. Wong is also Member-Financial Research Council at Monetary Authority of Singapore and Member of Securities Industry Council of Singapore and on the board of 10 other companies.

In the past she was Head-Institutional Banking Group at DBS Group Holdings Ltd. Chairman at DBS Bank (Taiwan) Ltd. and Head-Institutional Banking Group at DBS Bank Ltd. (both are subsidiaries of DBS Group Holdings Ltd.), Manager-Corporate Banking at Paribas Private Banking Asia Ltd., Manager-Private Banking at Citibank NA (Singapore) and Country Manager at JPMorgan Chase Bank (Singapore Branch).

She received an MBA from The University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree from National University of Singapore.
