Yoshiaki Nakano is on the board of Companhia Siderurgica Nacional and Transnordestina Logistica SA and Member-Economy Superior Council at Federação das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo and Professor at Getulio Vargas Foundation.

In his past career he held the position of Secretary of State of São Paulo.

He received an undergraduate degree from Getulio Vargas Foundation and a doctorate and an MBA from Cornell University.
