Presently, Wewage Viranga Supun Dep Weerasinghe occupies the position of Chief Executive Officer & Director at Dialog Axiata PLC. Mr. Weerasinghe is also on the board of Dialog Broadband Networks (Pvt) Ltd., Dialog Finance Plc, SLINTEC (Pvt) Ltd. and United Nations Global Compact Network Sri Lanka and Member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

He previously was Group Chief Strategy Officer at Axiata Group Bhd. and Director at Robi Axiata Ltd. (a subsidiary of Axiata Group Bhd.).

Mr. Weerasinghe received an undergraduate degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, an MBA from the University of Western Sydney and an undergraduate degree from Harvard Business School.
