Wai Wing Cheng is a Singaporean businessperson who has been the head of 9 different companies and is Member of The Esplanade Co. Ltd., Deputy Chairman & Deputy Managing Director at Wing Tai Holdings Ltd., Managing Director at Wing Tai Land Pte Ltd. (a subsidiary of Wing Tai Holdings Ltd.) and Chairman of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd. Mr. Cheng is also on the board of Wing Tai Malaysia Bhd. and Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and Member-Presidential Council at Real Estate Developers Association of Singapore and Member-International Council at Asia Society.

In the past he was Founding Chairman at DesignSingapore Council, Chairman for National Arts Council Singapore, Chairman at SATS Ltd. and Chairman for TFK Corp. (a subsidiary of SATS Ltd.), Chairman for S. Daniels Ltd., Chairman of Singapore Tourism Board and Member of Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore.

Mr. Cheng received an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and a graduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
