Taiyin Yang is on the board of Kodiak Sciences, Inc. and Member of American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, Member of Drug Information Association and Member of American Chemical Society.

In the past Dr. Yang occupied the position of EVP-Pharmaceutical Development & Manufacturing at Gilead Sciences, Inc. and Director-Analytical Chemistry at Syntex Corp.

She received an undergraduate degree from National Taiwan University and a doctorate from the University of Southern California.
