Presently, Simon Irwin Lawson occupies the position of Chief Executive Officer, MD & Director at Gascoyne Resources Ltd., Chief Executive Officer, MD & Executive Director at Firefly Resources Ltd. and Executive Director & Technical Director at Labyrinth Resources Ltd. Mr. Lawson is also on the board of Firetail Resources Ltd.

Mr. Lawson previously held the position of Chief Geologist at Northern Star Resources Ltd., Member of Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy and Chief Geologist at Superior Gold, Inc.

He received a graduate degree from Auckland University.
