He previously occupied the position of Chairman of Factory Mutual Insurance Co., Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Allendale Insurance and Chairman at Fm Global, Inc.

He received an undergraduate degree from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, a graduate degree from MIT Sloan School of Management and a graduate degree from New York University Tandon School of Engineering.
