Presently, Pankaj Jain occupies the position of Non-Executive Chairman for Petronet LNG Ltd. Mr. Jain is also on the board of Oil Industry Development Board, Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Ltd., National Credit Guarantee Trustee Co. Ltd. and Micro Units Development & Refinance Agency Ltd. and Secretary-Department of Financial Services at Government of India and Member of International Financial Services Centre Authority.

He previously was Managing Director at India Infrastructure Finance Co. Ltd. and Associate Member at The Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India.

Pankaj Jain received an undergraduate degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce and an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies.
