Presently, Olakunle Alake is Group Managing Director at Dangote Group Ltd.

He is also on the board of Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, Benue Cement Co., NASCON Allied Industries Plc and Dangote Cement Plc.

Mr. Alake previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director at Liberty Merchant Securities Ltd., Financial Controller of Liberty Merchant Bank Ltd., Executive Director at Dangote Industries Ltd. and Principal at Pricewaterhousecoopers (Nigeria).

He received an undergraduate degree from Obafemi Awolowo University.
