He is also on the board of Institute of Endocrinology & Diabetes and Director-Institute for Endocrinology & Diabetes at Schneider Children's Medical Center of Israel.

In his past career Dr. Phillip occupied the position of Vice President-Medical Affairs of BioLineRx Ltd., Chairman-Type One Diabetes Committee at Medicine On Line Israel (Moli) Ltd. and Vice Dean at Continuing Medical Education, Inc.

Dr. Phillip received a doctorate from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
