Derzeit hat Michel Favre die Position des Group Chief Financial Officer & Executive VP bei Faurecia SA inne und ist Chairman der Faurecia Automotive Holdings SAS, Chairman für Faurecia Investments SAS, Chairman von Faurecia Automotive und Chairman bei Faurecia Services Groupe (alles Tochtergesellschaften von Faurecia SA). Außerdem ist er Mitglied des Verwaltungsrats von Rexel Sverige AB, Rexel New Zealand Ltd., Rexel International Projects Group, Inc. und Rexel RE SA. In seiner früheren Karriere war er Chief Financial Officer & Senior Vice President bei Rexel SA, Group Chief Financial Officer von Casino, Guichard-Perrachon SA, Group Chief Financial Officer für Altadis SA (Frankreich) und Finanzdirektor von Altadis SA. Michel Favre erwarb einen Bachelor-Abschluss an der Cole des Hautes tudes Commerciales de Paris.
