Dr. Overmeyer is also on the board of Viscom AG, LPKF Laser & Electronics AG and Hanover Centre For Optical Technologies and Managing Partner at Institut für Integrierte Produktion Hannover gGmbH and Professor at the University of Hannover.

In his past career he occupied the position of Head-Machines & Control Systems Department at Laser Zentrum Hannover eV, Head-Research & Development at Mühlbauer GmbH & Co. KG and Professor at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus.

Ludger Overmeyer received a doctorate and an undergraduate degree from the University of Hannover.
