Currently, Katja Hessel holds the position of Parliamentary State Secretary at Germany Ministry of Finance. Ms. Hessel is also on the board of Deutsche Telekom AG and Member of Deutscher Bundestag and Member of Freie Demokratische Partei.

In her past career she occupied the position of Chairman-Supervisory Board for Hafen Nürnberg-Roth GmbH and State Secretary & Member at Bavaria Ministry of Economic Affairs & Infrastructure.

She received a graduate degree from Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
