In the past he was Senior Vice President-Operations for Conagra Brands, Inc. and Director, Chief Executive & Operating Officer at Boulder Brands, Inc. (a subsidiary of Conagra Brands, Inc.), President-Global Food Group at Perdue Farms, Inc. and President of 40 North Foods, Inc.

Mr. Leighton received an undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.
