She is also on the board of Epigenomics AG, Biofrontera AG, INDICAL BIOSCIENCE GmbH and Indical Topco AB.

In the past she was Managing Director at tesa Labtec GmbH and Senior Vice President at QIAGEN GmbH.

She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Giessen and a doctorate from Universität zu Köln.
