Mr. Puri previously occupied the position of Principal at Texas Instruments Incorporated, Principal at HP, Inc., President for Nihon Sun Microsystems KK, Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. and Senior Vice President of Sun Microsystems, Inc.

He received a graduate degree from California Institute of Technology, an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
